The Holy Plastic Shopping Bag Of Nhigel

The Uttabollux Holy book, the Ladhifeah is regarded by the Uttabollux High Council Of Dhaftghits as far too holy for mere mortals to even look at, let alone read. Therefore, ever since the very first High Council Of Dhaftghits decreed a Holy Fatghit (religious decree) that the Ladhifeah must be always kept in the Holy Plastic Shopping Bag Of Nhigel and that anyone who even attempts to take it out of the bag must be immediately stoned to death.

Therefore, according to the current Hibossmahn (The highest Dhaftghit -equivalent to the pope in Catholicism), Nohbrahin Re-Actshunahri, Uttabollux scholars and theologians must rely on ‘divine inspiration’ from the Skhighhibhoss (the Uttabollux God) to tell them what is in the book.

Therefore, as Re-Actshunahri points out, any interpretation of the Ladhifeah then made by a Dhaftghit must be the correct one, because the Dhaftghits are holy men and consequently cannot ever be wrong. That is, unless they are found to be wrong, and are denounced as such in a Holy Fatghit by other obviously much more holy men such as the Hibossmahn, or the High Council Of Dhaftghits, as an heretic who has been influenced by malicious devils, in which case they – of course – need to be immediately stoned to death in order to make them understand their theological errors.
