Over-Clocking Your Electro-Weasels

Well, there you go. I suppose if it wasn't for Alberta Flange's intervention*, we would never have realised that our electro-weasels were slightly out of phase. It takes a practiced eye, I suppose, to pick up on that sort of thing.

So, now, after her recommended slight adjustments, our electro-weasels are running between 80 to 85% of full capacity. Not at all unimpressive, I'm sure you will agree.

Yes, I do know that it is possible to go higher, or even to over-clock your electro-weasels and get 120 to 130% of the badged rating out of them, but it is important to remember that these are electro-weasels, NOT turbo-badgers, and consequently such gains cannot be achieved without a price. I'm sure of that.

Although, having said that**, technology moves fast these days. For example, who - a few years ago - would have thought that by now nearly every tea-cosy you purchase now comes with its own integral MP3 player. Even Chicken-Intriguing racquets - these days - are now, almost universally, able to send and receive SMS text messages and download knitting patterns straight off the internet.

So, having said all that, maybe it will not be too long before your stick of electro-weasels (wired up in parallel, of course) can be utilised to make fresh hot toast first thing in the morning without recourse to the tired old technology of having to set fire to a garden hedge first.

**And with my memory, I'm not sure I did.
