Waiting For A New day
Put the world behind us and set out on some new path. This road has grown old with overuse. It is time to think of something new. A new story we can tell the children as they gather around the night-time fires. There should always be new stories out there, waiting for us to discover them in their hiding places behind bushes, just past bends in the roads and just over horizons. There will always be something to tell from the shape of a leaf up to the worst storms and disasters ever known.
We will tell the old stories again, and we will discover new stories hidden inside all the days to come. We can do nothing else except tell each other stories while we wait for this world to bring us a new day.
