Torn Shadows
These sore half-closed eyes
wasting their precious vision
on views of faded hopes
across a destroyed landscape.
Where empty factories fall down
into oil-soaked rusty mud
while sharp-toothed scavengers
create a bone-thin living haunting
these torn metal shadows.
