Moments like Water
That tiny movement of the head
leaves eddies in its wake as though
this air is water flowing past
as though this moment could run down
into the pool of memories
already forming all around us.
The pearl of this one moment grows
on from the single grain of time
a possibility that runs
between these moments water turns
around us, fills the emptiness
that lies between us with a chance
we can, together, swim these seas.

Once again, your lovely poem awoke my own memories that used to troubled me at night.
Inane Words
By Tatiana Pahlen
How could one be blinded
victorious over inane words,
breaking the walls
of a brittle edifice
out of fascination of a first encounter!
My soul is pulled into this abyss
emptiness gets heavier
sounds trapped in symphony;
vultures hover and spin around,
mocking from way above
their next victim's pride with contempt.
And in the field of sweet boredom
We suffer another night full of stars,
tearing to pieces our memories
from the heights of mute hearts!
Tatiana: yes, you have some good ideas there.
