Once more there is silence and we do not know what to do. Even the day is hesitant about leaving the night-time behind and shrugging off its enveloping darkness.
Out here is a place of beginnings, where we can watch the dawn grow to fill the skies as the birds greet the day with their songs. We have known days like this before and we know what to expect. This is all about beginnings; we do not look to the end. We have lost too much to ever want to see another day end.
Let go and watch it fall, let go and it will end. We have to hang on to it as though our lives depend upon it, because one day they will. Even though we know there is nothing we can do to stop the day ending, we can at least find some way of making it seem as though it could last forever.
